Problem with CD Burning

O

Oslo

Have just bought a Tiny Tornado 3000.
Athlon 3000, 200Gb HD, 256MB ATI Radeon, NEC 2500A DVD RW and DVD ROM 16*.

Regardless of what burn software I use (Nero 6 is the main one), I get
static and other corruption on my Audio copies. It may only last for 2-3
secs, or even a few minutes. Rest of CD copy sounds fine.
Any idea what could be causing this?

Cheers

O.

Have you tried a different brand of CD-R? Have you tried burning at a lower
speed? Burning at a lower speeds gives a better and longer lasting burn
anyway...
