I'm running Windows XP 3 on a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop. I'm using Windows
network services.
I have always been able to reconnect to the network after hibernate. But
recently Windows auto-updated itself to Service Pack 3. Ever since then, when
I restart from hibernate, Windows gives this message: "Generic Host Process
for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close." I can't
Repair my network, and under View Available Network I see "Windows cannot
configure this wireless connection."
I can always solve the problem by restarting Windows. But my computer is
pretty old and this takes quite awhile (which is why I use hibernate). So I'd
prefer to fix this problem if I can.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
