Problem When Opening Word 2000

Everytime we open up Microsoft Word 2000 on our computer, the same file
(document) keeps coming up automatically instead of a blank white
sheet. We've deleted this file and it just comes back. Tonight, I
uninstalled Microsoft Office small business disk 1 with word on it and
reinstalled it and the same thing is still happening. This file was
originally in notepad and we changed it to word....not sure what is
going on or how to get rid of this document so word will open up
normally. Any ideas or suggestions?
