Problem w/ Downloading Music Files

J

Jim S.

I re-installed my WMP 9.0 [I have Windows ME] today after
getting an error message.

The history of Windows upgrades info states that the re-
installation was "successful".

Prior to having to re-install the WM 9.0, I had no
problems with downloading music files from liquid.com, or
from other web-sites, directly to my media library in the
WMP.

After purchasing some music today, however, I tried
downloading - after getting a message that the licenses
had been installed - instead of the file "downloading"
directly to the WMP - a window opened while I'm in AOL
asking "SAVE AS, etc." I was unable to "save" the file
in "My Music" files, or anyone else.

I tried getting help from AOL customer service, but they
told me it would be best to get help from microsoft/
Windows support.

Does anyone have a clue as to what to do ? Your help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I am running WMP 8.0, I just checked and WMP 9.0 has two
different versions, one for 98/ME/SE and another for
WinXP. Did you download the correct version for your ME?
If you did, check Settings in AOL/preferences/Download
and check where you want them to go to, and click SAVE.
Suggest you save them to AOL/Download, you can later move
them to where you want them.
