Problem w desktop/right-clicking...

Ok, here's a strange one!

Difficult to determine when this started exactly. User complained today
that this "has been happening for years". Nice.

Anyways, when you right-click anywhere on the desktop, icons or the open
areas, it takes about 30-60 seconds for the right-click menu to appear. If
you right-click while inside any program, it works fine. If you open Windows
Explorer and right-click, it works fine. Only on the desktop is where it
doesn't work properly.

I'd have to think the hardware is fine, seeing it works anywhere except the
desktop. Any ideas on what to try or look for? Thank you very much!!

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers
