Problem using Briefcase.

I have a desktop running Windows XP Home (SP1), and Windows XP Pro (SP1) on a
laptop. These computers are networked. I have attempted to work on files
normally stored on my desktop, by transferring them to a Briefcase folder on
my laptop. However, when I have finished working with these files on my
laptop and click the "Update Briefcase" button to synchronise the files with
those on the desktop, I receive the following message:

"Some files in the Briefcase have sync copies that are inaccessible. These
files will not be updated until the sync copies are accessible from this
computer".

I don't understand why these files are not accessible. They are not being
used on the desktop and I can access them from my laptop via Network Places.

Any help appreciated.

I believe the solution to this is to open and update the Briefcase from your
desktop rather than laptop, as it is looking for a local path.
