Problem Uninstalling program from Windows XP

Running Virgin PC Guard, I have an error when attempting to uninstall the
Broadband Advisor progam, the errorsays that in order to uninstll i must
uninstall security services ?

I can stop the security centre service from the admin - but it still gives
the same error when attempting to uninstall, how do I get rid of this program.

I am not sure if this helps or if you did this, but go to control panel and
select on add or remove programs. after that find the file or program and
click on that and hopefully that will uninstall for you.
