My computer started a discreet beep every three minutes.
Hmm. Wonder if Windows Media Player could be "watermarking" tunes to make
them unacceptable for downloading or perhaps the station to which I was
listening was trying the same thing.
I changed stations. Nope, beeps still there.
Must be that evil Micros~1. I turned off the media player. Still the beep.
Every three minutes.
I turned off the computer!
Still the beeps!
Ah ha! My cell phone needs recharging.
Just proves one should exhaust all other options before a clean install.
