Hi all,
hope you can help.
I'm running Powerpoint 2003 on Windows XP with Service Pack 1. It's running
on a Maxdata laptop with NVidia GeForce2 Go 32MB graphics.
I've got a test 2 page presentation, the 1st page just contains the text
'testing'
the 2nd page has a 46MB mpg file inserted into it using the correct Insert
Movie From File method... (the movie is in the same folder as the
presentation too...)
I was originally setting this file up to test the ability to see the
presentation on both the laptop screen and a projector screen, connected to
the laptop, however, everytime I run the file, it crashes and throws up the
'send error report' box as soon as the 2nd page with the movie is accessed
through the slide show.
So - my question is two-fold:
1. Can anyone hazard a guess as to what's causing the crash?
2. If/when it stops crashing, is it possible to have the movie running on
both the laptop and projector simultaneously? At best (before the crashing),
it's only displayed on the laptop screen, with just a black box on the
projector screen.
Thanks very much for any help offered
James.
