Problem sending contact from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007

I use Outlook 2007, my wife has Outlook 2003. If she selects a contact and
forwards it to me (the only option AFAICS other than New Mail-Insert Item,
which seems to do exactly the same thing), I receive the email with not a
contact attached, but an eml attachment, which on opening is blank. The item
in her Sent Items folder shows a Contact as the attachment. Are we missing
something here?

Change your message format to RTF if you want to send Outlook Items.

Just the sender. Moreover, it doesn't need to be a global change, only for
the specific message containing the item.
