I have a problem installing winxp professional SP1 on my machine :
ASUS A7V600-X, 512MB DDR, 160GB Maxtor SATA hard (SATA1) and so on...
Notice that I already installed winxp without any problems, and than
due to the suspicious software I had to install windows again.
When I try to install winxp (second time), I put a SATA driver flopy
and installation normally reads it, I select a driver for xp, and than
after loading drivers, I press enter and screen comes up :
examining hard drive 160gb ..so on... and computer crashes. It just
stays on that screen..
I tried several times, changed sata cables and everything and nothing.
Nothing has been changed in bios since my first successfull installation.
Please help me...

P.S. After I tried with the original ASUS CD driver,I tried to download
several newer drivers and problem still occurs.
