Problem Installing ActiveX Controls

So aggrevated!! Internet Explorer locks up and needs to be closed whenever I
try to click on the Install ActiveX Control bar that comes up when I try to
install a photo uploader from FaceBook and Kodak. I've tried reinstalling
IE, and resetting to default security in Tools. Windows update has been done
too. Window XP Professional 5.1 SP3 and I'm using IE 8.0.6001.18702.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid you're in for a bit more aggravation Andy. You've posted your XP
question in a discussion group for .NET programming issues. You need to ask
in a Windows XP group, so here's how to find one.

As you appear to be using a web interface, visit this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

In the tree on the left, open English, then open Windows. In the
Windows subcategory, find and open the subcategory for Windows XP, and
find a group there for your post.
