Problem in Windows XP-Windows 98 Networking

Guest

I bought a new notebook running XP Home edition and I have two Windows 98 computers. I cannot acess (e.g. print, file sharing, mapping network drive and etc.) any of the other two computers from the XP. I have tried it all: enabled guest account, consistent user and password name for the workgroup, run the network setup created by xp on all other machines and etc. I can access the share folder on the XP machine from one of the 98 machines but not from the other one. I still cannot share printers or see any of the other two PCs from XP. I have also tried explicit IP address reference to other machines (e.g. \\198...\folder name) and still cannot connect. I am running out of patience, this is a black hole of time. Anyone can help pleaaaaaaaaaaaase

Because two of your PCs run Windows 98 you may need to
add NetBEUI as a protocol on all computers in the
network. This should be on the Windows XP CD. If not you
can probably download it from somewhere. This should
allow all computers to see each other.

Hope this helps.
