problem in windows folder

In Explore / Windows folder, there is at least 20 files
that say in blue ink for example:
$NtUninstall Q329390_RTM$ and when I open this folder
there are 3 things in there Spuminst file, html 32.cnv,
and msconv97.dll 2000.11.9.0 Microsoft conversion
library. In the Spuninst folder within all this is MD-DOS
Batch file, Windows Service pack uninstall, spuninst set
up info.

So in each of the different $NtUninstall....etc there are
the above things.

Could this be because my son deleted inside the temp
folder in Explore / Windows / temp all the stuff that
was inside there? There was history file, etc. He thought
you can delete everything in the temp folder.

Thanks,
Ann

These are uninstall files for UPdates from MicroSoft. No need to do
anything with them.

Thanks for answering me. I just never saw it like this
before. I also have an XP with all the updates and in my
Windows Explore, it doesn't show that way.

I was worried that when he deleted everything in the
Windows Temp folder (like history folder and the other
folders inside), he might have done some damage to
something.

Thanks,
Ann
