Problem in Log-in

Greetings,

I have a problem with my windows xp SP2, with log-in. I have put a password
for logging in, when i click on my user id it asks for password, and when i
put password .. it shows welcome, welcome sound also i can hear, but thn in
just 2 sec it automatically log-outs. i can not log in in safe mode also. I
dont want to format system, any solutions ???
