Problem importing an object to database

Hello all
I'm trying to import a thurd party object (.sld) to the database.
I unchecked the "copy to repository...."option, just at the second time i
tried to import tr object.
There no errors:
=============================================
Importing... D:\Shell\plx9030\PLX9030.sld
50% Importing... 'PCI SMARTarget I/O Accelerator' Component
100% Importing... 'WinDriver' Component
Import Succeeded
Changes to the database have been committed

File(s) Processed : 1, File(s) Succeeded : 1
=============================================

When I tried to add the component in the TD, i wouldn't find it. I didn't
find it in the database manager as well.
Any idea???

Thanks
David.

I'm assuming you see the component but not the files. If you don't even
see the component, is the visibility field in the component set to 1000
in Component Designer?

Is there a repository created *and selected* in the component?

Is your dev machine connected to a network?

If yes to both the above, What version of XPe are you using?

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the reply.

I can see now the component in the DB...
No I didn't create repository and not selected it and that was the problem.
But now when I add the component in the TD it warns :
===============================================
Can not find file resource paths for 'PLX_9030'. Please check the component
definition.
===============================================

Repository is now created *and selected* in the component...
I have SP2 intalled (No FP2007).
The Dev machine is connected to the internet.

David.
