Hi Stoo,
This is a known issue. The max record size of Dbase 4 is 4000byte.
Workaround:reduce the size of the text field in order that the total sum of
the table fields size is less than 4000 bytes

| Having a problem exporting an Access DB to a DBase file, I
| get a dialog pop up saying:

| "Field will not fit in record" and the export fails.
