Problem: drwatson postmortem debugger has encountered a problem

Is there any help for the issue, error message:
"drwatson postmortem debugger has encountered a problem and must shut down".
Does anyone know what this is and what to do about it? Is it spyware? A
virus, or trojan? I am seeing a lot of questions about the problem online
but no answers.
