Problem Creating Win XP Pro VPN Server

G

Guest

I'm trying to create a VPN Server on a Win XP Pro. I'm following the set shows in

www.onecomputerguy/networking/xp_vpn_server.htm,

in step 7 I get an error message that tell Could not initiate the Routing and remote access service..

When I go to see this service, is set to automatic, but when I want to initiate it I get an error 340

I think that the problem is with NetBios Group, NetBios Interface dependence. I can’t find this service

Some help, pleas

Thank you

Check the Remote Access Connection Manager service... Make sure it
isn't disabled...

Per an MS posting in a different newsgroup, try updating your MDAC
components:

This has been known to cause/fix this problem...
