Problem creating Quick Launch

When I click "Quick Launch" using the using the entry
under toolbars, XP quickly pops up with "Cannot create
toolbar". When I flag the Qick Launch entry under
Properties on the taskbar, and click on apply and then
OK, XP silently unclicks the Quick Launch flag.

This behavior can occur if the Quick Launch folder has been deleted. To
resolve this issue, recreate the Quick Launch folder. Create a folder named
Quick Launch at the following location:

C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\

This script from MVP Doug Knox will correct the error message Cannot Create
Toolbar For...... by automatically recreating your Quick Launch folder.
