Problem closing Outlook 2003

I have installed Office 2003 Pro and I am having a
problem with Outlook
closing. When I close, it appears to do so. When I look
in the right side
of the Windows XP Pro Taskbar I see it still there. When
I attempt to open
Outlook again it will not. I then looked in the Task
Manager/Processes and
see two Outlook.exe's running. When I close them the
Icons will go away. I
can then open Outlook but the same thing happens when I
close it. For some
reason Outlook remains running. Does anyone know why or
how to fix. Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you run any software that integrates with Outlook? Virusscanner,
synchronisation software, fax software, etc... These programs will keep
Outlook open as well untill they are closed.
