Problem changing password after migration

Dmitry

Hi all

I am having an issue changing the password on the machine
that was migrated with ADMT v2 from NT to AD domain. I
selected an option to keep password , same as username.
This is the error message that I am getting : Unable to
change the password on this account (C00000BE).Please
consult your system administrator. This machine is
Windows NT 4.0 workstation SP6, located in remote site
with 1 DC and 1 DC/GC. Computers in other sites aren`t
having any issues like this.

Please help

I saw this article already, but it doesn`t help. All my
domain controllers are Windows 2000 Adv Server SP 4.
Restrict Anonymous is set to 0. Windows NT Workstations
are all SP 6. I am able to change passwords on Windows NT
workstations from my other remote site, but not this one.
I am able to contact PDC emulator FSMO in remote site,
from the machine that I can`t change password on, so
what`s the problem?

I think I need to cantact Mark Minasi, if u guys can`t
help

I did some poking around on deja found a post that may or
may not do anything for you. I don't know your
environment, but this guy did two evil things. 1)His PDC
Emulator was multihomed (which is always a bad idea on a
DC) and it was also upgraded from NT4, which is a bad
idea.

He also did some pretty good troubleshooting steps you may
want to follow.
