Problem after installing IE7

Installed IE7 last night, replacing the beta2 version that I had and after
the reboot two programs that connect to the internet(Orb and Gmail
notifier)are telling me that I have no internet connection, which I do. Tried
reinstalling both...they still say no connection...then did system restore
which brought back beta2, but didn't correct the problem...tried reinstalling
them again, no good. Naturally, I am running XP. Any suggestions on how to
fix this problem would be most helpful...thanks.

IE7 questions should be posted to the Internet Explorer General newsgroup as
below -

In your Newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you need to use the Web Interface -
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

You should post your question in the IE7 newsgroup *after* you spend
some time reading through the posts there. The IE7 newsgroup is:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

There are a huge number of posts so it would be smart to start by going
to Google Groups Advanced Search. Use a search term that describes your
problem, constrain the search to the IE7 newsgroup and the date to very
recently.

And no, I'm sorry but I don't have your answer or I would tell you
now. ;-)
