Problem accurately checking license

I powered up my computer today, and after logging in and loading personal
settings, I got an Error window titled "Windows Product Activation" that said
"a problem is preventing windows from accurrately checking the license for
this computer. error code:". I tried doing a reapir installation with no
success. Any ideas on how to fix this??

Will, the solutions assume I can get to the windows program in safe mode. I
cannot. I get stuck in a loop trying to log in. I can't run regedit or
restore to an earlier point.

Hi

What happened when you tried the 'Repair' install? Did the installation
complete - and you still have the same problem? On the same screen there is
a 'Last Known Good Configuration' option. Try that to see if you can access
Windows.
