Problem accessing Secure site

R

Rashid

Hi All,

I am facing problem accessing a secure banking site.

I get the message "The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site
might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to
adjust your browser settings." after a long time of waiting.

I am using XP Professional Service Pack 2 and IE Version
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158CO .

I have tried setting the site as trusted site and some other security
settings too. But no success. I downloaded Netscape, but still it
doesn't work. Any pointers on how to overcome this problem?

TIA
Rashid.

In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

Another thing you can try is:
Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll
Press Enter or click OK
