private items on a group calendar

Hello all,

I have a strange request from a client.
They want to be as efficient as possible in the office by
using only one group calendar. I told them that was fine
because we have SBS with Exchange & Outlook clients.

But the owner wants to post "private items" on a group
calendar. I tried to explain to her that the concept of a group
calendar is for everyone to see all items on a group calendar.

She does'nt except that, and thinks that there has to be a way
to do this because they don't want to maintain two seperate
calendars (personal & group). They are Lawyers so, you know
that they are very persistant.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who has any input on this topic?

Thanks

Tell her nicely that she's just plain wrong. A "public" calendar supports no concept of private items.
