Privacy Settings Import Questions

I have questions about importing Internet Explorer Privacy Settings.

1 - Is this going to import sites I add to my blocked sites?
2 - If it is, where is this file stored? I dried doing a text search of all
files on my hard drive containing a site I added but couldn't find it.

What I want to do is import this list to other PC's I use without adding
each site one at a time.

Hi Jeff,
you can import your custom privacy preferences to Internet explorer by
importing a .xml file(which is extensible markup language elements) by
clicking "Import" button and pointing to that xml file you obtained from the
sites.

Thanks for the information on how to import the file!

Is there also a way to creat an export file from IE ? What I would like to
do is take the settings from my PC and Import them into my kid's PC's. This
would be better than trying add the same site information to each PC.

You are welcome.
Well, you can transfer the xml file you imported for your computer to the
other pc and import that file in IE on that pc.

Thanks again for responding!

What I would like to do is automatically create an XML file from within IE
itself using the information already keyed into IE. I was hoping not to have
to manually key all this info into an XML file.

Is there by chance an "export" function that will create an XML file from
within IE?
