Privacy Alert

Hello, I am confused with this "Privacy Alert" pop-up box that keeps popping up in the bottom right hand corner of my screen...it is pink, and when it pops up the only way to get rid of it is to click on one of the options. I think it is part of the Microsoft system. I was wondering if someone could tell me what it is, and what I can do to have it stop popping up alll of the time. Thanks!

Actually, I don't think the Privacy Alert you describe is part of
Windows. It sounds like something coming from third-party software you
installed or that came preinstalled (bundled) with your computer if its
OEM. Do you have some sort of security software like Mcafee? Norton
Internet Security? A firewall or popup stopper sort of program
installed? When the Alert shows up, try right-clicking it to see if you
can identify the program. Also, you can start the Task Manager
(Ctrl-Alt-Del or right-click on taskbar) and see what is running. Since
we can't see your computer from here, you're going to have to Sherlock
this a bit.
