Hi,
Does anyone know how I can take a screenshot of the screen on a machine on
the LAN?
I don't know much about networking, but the machine the database is one has
two machines in My Computer, y and z.
Thanks for any help

well you could use VNC in order to get to the other machine.. You
also should be able to 'share a terminal session'.

I frequently 'share a terminal session' during dev and I could easily
take a screenshot then.

I do this form Windows 2003 Server; you launch something called the
'Terminal Services Administration' and then you can right click
'remote control' the 'server' you want to do this for.

I'm fairly sure that this 'Terminal Services Administration' would
allow you to logon to a Windows XP machine to do this.

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the help, but that went over my head. I'm crap at such things. I
was thinking anyway that if someone could help me with the vb for a
standalone .vbs file that could be run on the network machine that'll
printscreen and save it to the harddrive, I can then sort out the getting the
saved file across the network...

Thanks again for the help
