Printing to Network TCP/IP port

I have WinXP Pro and print to an HP Laserjet 5siMX printer
via an tcp/ip printer port. Printing has worked fine
until yesterday. Now I get a print failure. After
deleting the printer and tcp/ip printer port, I can
recreate the port, but cannot setup a new printer to it.
I get the error "Unable to Install Printer. Operation
could not be completed" error.

Information I do know. I can ping the ip port. My machine
is setup as a dual boot, and I can successfully setup the
printer via tcp/ip and print without error from the other
partition, so something is blocking my ability to print
from the WinXP partition. In addition, if I setup the the
printer using Netware file and print services, I can print
to that printer....but not all printers have a Netware
setup that I can use...so I need to connect via tcp/ip.

Any ideas on what could be blocking me would be helpful.
I do not ICS or XP's firewall on and I don't have any
other firewall software running.

Same thing for me. The network printer just won't
work. "network printer not found on server" although it
recignizes the printers names still. What happened?
