Printing problem (again)

Second try - someone must have a suggestion.

Four PCs on a wired home LAN; three with Win XP Home and one with XP Pro.
Printer (HP Laser 1200) is hooked to USB printer port on router.
The three Win XP Home machines print as expected.
The Pro machine prints just fine but it does not seem to know the job is
done.
Every I print something I must open the Printer dialog and delete the print
job.
If I do not do this, the job is re-printed next time I boot the PC

Not a serious problem but annoying
Thanks for any suggestions.

On the Pro machine, open up the properties of the printer. Under the
Advanced tab is the setting "Keep printed documents" checked? If so uncheck
it and your problem should go away. If it is unchecked already I'll see if I
can figure something else ;-)

Many thanks for reply.
The item "Keep printed docs" is not checked
The only things checked are Spool print doc ... ; Print immediately and
Print spooled docs first
This matches the set up on other PCs

best wishes
