Printing from PDA

Hello everybody, I am a newbie for PDA app development.

My questions are regarding printing in general from
PDA.


1)I have compaq and Jornada device with me. My first
question is what are printing options available for direct
printing
a. from these devices?
b. any other devices?

I mean NOT through applications but in general as such.

2)Now if i want to print something directly from the
mobile PDA application developed using c# and compact
framework what are the options available for printing
through the app?

3) Do we have setting for printers on the PDA devices?
Particulalry APART from thermal printer as provided by
Symbol?

4) Do we have direct access to LAN printer from the PDA
device? (Either through wired or wireless mode)

I personally use native code to do my printing to Pentax thermal printers
