printing from multiple trays

IN office word 2000 under page setup when you tell the document that the
paper source is tray 1 for the first page and tray 2 for all other pages it
still prints from tray 1 for all pages. If you tell it to print to tray 2 for
the first page and tray one of other pages it prints all pages from tray 2.
This worked in pervious versions of word. I've tried PS and PCL drivers and
I've tried many different configurations on the Xerox docuprint N2125.

Does this document have more than one section? For example, a mail merge
letter is made up of multiple page 1s.
