printing emails in outlook express

John

I'm using Outlook Express with Windows XP professional.
When I create a new message, it won't print. "Print"
under File is grayed out and there is no response if I
try to print from the keyboard. I have no problem
printing emails I have received, only new messages I'm
writing that I may want to proof.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Hi Kevin:

Thanks for your reply. My problem is I want to print the
e-mail before I send it (I find it easier to proof it for
typos on paper rather than on the screen).

Any ideas?

Thanks again,

John

Thanks, Michael. What I'm trying to eliminate is having
to take that extra step to compose an e-mail in my word
processor simply to be able to print it out. Do you
happen to know why OE won't print when composing a new
message, but will print the rest of the time? And is
there a way around this?

Thanks again.

I don't know why it won't but I know it has been this way for a long time.
You could also save it to your drafts folder and print it out or you could
simply get one of the many freeware spell checkers but that won't give you
the option to print out before sending or saving.
