Printer stalls xp boot up

Hi folks,

Second and last problem....... honest......

We have this computer in the church office, and have installed a
printer Dell 966 photo. When printer power switch is on, and you boot
computer it hangs on the firest Dell start-up screen. If you turn
power to printer off, then reboot. It boots O.K

Sounds like a faulty printer or USB lead.
Try the printer on another computer.

Go into BIOS and look at "BOOT" order. If USB is before hard drive,
change it.
