Printer Sharing

Whenever I check printer sharing I get a error message that changes can not
be saved. I thought this might have somethinh to do with permissions, so I
followed that path. However when I Click on the printer, while holding down
the control key, I don't get a security tab. I am the administrator,

Thanks

XP Home, or Pro? If Pro, is "simple file sharing" enabled?
What event log errors do you see?

XP Home. Where do I find the event log ?

You wouldn't get a 'security tab' in Windows XP Home Edition without being
in Safe Mode as the actual administrator user (username "administrator"...)

This article includes Part 8 of the "Set up a Small Network with Windows XP
Home Edition" guide.
Part 8 discusses how to share a printer.
