Printer Sharing

I have two computers windows xp and windows 98 and are both connected to a
rounter. I want to share a printer between two computers. I tried to
connect both computers by network sharing but it's not possible to get the
names of the opposite computer in the workgroup. Any suggestions?

Thanks

You have to assign a password to the Guest user with Windows XP SP1
or SP2. Use this command from a Command-Line window: "net user
guest password" Substitute the actual password for the word
password in the line. Turn on Simple file sharing on the Windows XP
machine. Run the Home network Setup Wizard on the Windows XP
machine and create the Network Setup floppy disk to setup the
network on the Windows 98 machine.

You might have to give the shared printer a share name on whichever
computer to which it is attached. You'll need printer drivers for
the operating system of the computer which does not have the printer
attached.
