printer problems

I have a Lexmark X4270 All In One and the documents are not printing
completely. They stop at different places on the page. I have been in
contact with Lexmark for 2 months now and they finally tell me that it is a
spooler problem. I have also found out that I have a win32 print processor
122 error (I don't know what that means). I have Windows XP Home Edition
Service Pack 2. Please can someone help me? I need to be able to print out
invoices, paychecks and word documents.

I've never seen the device. This is what the error means.

G:\>winerror 122
122 ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER <--> 0xc0000023 STATUS_BUFFER_TOO_SMALL

Will the device print if you set Winprint as the print processor (that's
the Windows print processor).

The setting is on the Advanced tab of the printer properties.

The 122 error seems to be related to insufficient buffer space. Exactly
where in the printing process this might occur was not well defined.
Beyond that, it may be that there is not enough free space on the HD, or the
swap file may be fixed in size(to small).
If that isn't enough, some Lexmark and other printers can use an OEM
peculiar "print processor" module. If the OEM module is not intended for
your windows version, this and other errors are possible. If the
application is not intended for your windows version, this and other errors
are possible as well. All in one printers have a more complex driver
package than just a plain printer, and an increased chance for trouble.

The classic solution path starts with looking at the printer driver options,
and setting them to use RAW if not already set.
Next, determine if there is enough free space on the HD. (This may include
housekeeping, such as deleting un needed temp files, etc.
Check for a fixed swap file size, and if so, change the setting to allow
windows to manage the swap file size.

Last resorts involve disconnecting the printer, uninstalling the printer
driver(s), using a "cleanup utility" (if it exists for the printer driver)
rebooting, then uninstalling USB (if it's a USB printer). If this becomes
necessary, it's a good idea to have a PS2 style keyboard, as a USB keyboard
may fail to work after uninstalling the USB drivers. (usually, a reboot will
allow the USB drivers to reinstall automatically)
Next, you would typically reinstall the USB drivers, reboot, reinstall the
printer drivers (updated if possible) per the mfrs directions, and reconnect
the printer. It may be necessary to use windows "safe mode" to uninstall the
printer and or USB drivers.

I have set it to the winprint and no this doesn't help. It still has the
same problem.

I have it set to RAW, and the HD has plently of space. How do I check for a
fixed swap file size? I am not up on all the lingo so talk as simple as you
can get. I only know enough to be dangerous! Thanks :)
