"Printer Low On Ink"

R

Rush

There are about 15 Windows XP computers networked to a
Lexmark T622 printer, and everytime anyone tries to print
to it, they get a "Low Ink" message. I can choose "Don't
Remind Me", but it keeps popping up. There is plenty of
ink. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Most often occurs when ink cartridges have been refilled and then not reset
correctly... either because the cartridges have chips that must be reset or
the method that the printer uses to 'measure' how much ink left in the
cartridges has malfunctioned.

Solution if cause is the first mentioned is to stop refilling and start
buying Lexmark cartries or get a professional chip resetter. Solution if
the second cause is generally beyond scope of newsgroups.
