PRINTER ISSUES

Hi guys I have just installed a brother 9800mfc
and it didnt print a test page so i went to view the
properties and when i tired to do this i got prompted
with this error "Explorer.EXE Function address 0x6a90594b
caused a protection fault.(Exception code 0xc0000005)some
or all property page(s) may not be displayed

I read up on the error and it seems to be a protection
error. I am running under windows xp so if anyone can
please give me some insight that would be great thanks.

This is a failure in the driver when it loads in the explorer process. I
have seen this if the driver attempts to use memory that it has not
allocated properly. The explorer process (the process that loads the
desktop) handles this fault without crashing but the page is not displayed.
What driver are you using for the device?

I am using the printer driver of the brother cd that came
with the mfc it has worked fine on other win xp pc's but
dosent seem to want to on this machine the river however
is not digital signed but i cant find one that is
any idea???
