I running windows server 2003 terminal services and at least once a week it
seems that when the users log off their terminal sessions the printers do not
get deleted and the next time they log in they have their printer listed
under two session number and at that point they start having printing problem
(the print jobs don't print) up to the point where everybody has to log off
and the terminal server needs to be rebooted.

Actually most of my printer drivers have been updated with the most recent
ones from the manufacturer at the moment of installation. the system was
working for severel months before about a month ago this issue started.

To my knowledge all the installed drivers are TS certified but I will double
check all my drivers. What bothers me the most is that it worked fine for
several months.

The only vendor I'm aware of that does rigorous testing for TS & Citrix
Compatibility is HP, and they publish a list of drivers that are certified.
That being said, I don't even use those, as they come out with driver updates
(to fix problems) more often than I care to deal with. In most cases you can
map an unsupported/new printer to a native built-in printer driver w/o
problems or loss in printer functionality, i.e. for LaserJet 4200 printers I
use the LaserJet 4 Plus driver.

Thank you very much for you input. I will be checking all my printer drivers
for TS compatibility.
