Print to Fax without the Send Fax wizard

We're using the Print command from MSWord to send pages to the Win2k
MSFAX Windows fax driver. We're not really faxing documents, the
objective is to create image files of individual pages. It works,
except that the Send Fax wizard pops up every time and prompts for
phone # and other info. I'm using our own phone # and the fax
transmission fails but a usable image file is created in the Fax Queue
directory.

Is there a way to bypass the wizard, so that 'Print to Fax' simply
generates image files?

You can achieve this with any one of the following options
1. Use Fax API to send fax and retrieve tiff file from the queue
2. Install Office 2003, that comes with MODI printer, which by
turning an 'Print to File' option, can straight away produce tiff images.

If you are doing 'File | Print' from MSWord, you can select the fax printer
and check the 'Print to File' option in the Print Dialog. In this case, you
will be prompted for an output file name. The Send Fax Wizard does not come
up in this case to collect information and send fax - insted a tiff file
with the specified output file name is created.
