Print Spooler stops working after a few printjobs.

We use a centralized Term Server and we have a few diffrent computers that connects over PPTP-vpn to the Term Server.
Well the problem anyway is that after a while we have to restart the print spooler service to be able to continue printing.
And I am wondering, is it because we use Crystal Reports to format the pages with certain programs or is it that the PPTP-vpn sometimes goes down and a second later goes up again and the print spooler has to do it all again and gets duplicates.
Anyone that might have a good answer are really welcome to write me an email.

You might have a manfunctioning printer driver. Have you
tried using a different printer driver for your terminal
server's printers? The current driver that you are using
may be causing the printer spooler to crash.
