print preview

Using XP home SP2, Canon i960 printer with newest drivers. About 3 months
ago, the print preview quit working in all apps. The box "preview before
printing" is checked in print preferences. I've uninstalled and reinstalled
the printer drivers and software 4 times ... the last 2 times thoroughly
cleaning the registry of any references to my printer. All other features on
the printer work fine .. just no preview! Even Canon tech support had no
answer. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the response, however the link to the knowledge base article has
to do with printing from IE. I'm mainly concerned about just printing
pictures from My Pictures folder. There are some apps that have their own
preview, but the preview window that used to come up before was titled "BJ
Previewer" and there is a reference key to it in the registry under Canon,
but it is blank, and I don't know if something should be in there or not.
Like I said , that feature worked for the 2 years I've had the printer, but
something killed it. The only thing I did about that time was to install
some windows updates, and I've tried to uninstall them along with the
reinstalling of the printer, but nothing has any effect. I've even emailed
MS support and they couldn't answer it either! I'm getting bald!!
