print options

is there a way to set the print where each record's field will be on one page
(even in landscape) without cutting the record onto different pages, if I
wanted to print records from a query view? Something in page setup or print
preview (like in excel where the margins can be dragged)?

Hi

From what you're saying, you're looking at doing this from a query in
Access?

If that's the case, then there's a limited set of tools to help you
with printing. There ARE both Print Preview and Page Setup options,
which allow you (Page Setup, at least) to manage paper size, margins,
orientation and suchlike. This is available from the File menu (Access
2003 and earlier) or the Office button (Access 2007) --> Print.

However, you're right that you don't get the same degree of control
that you do with Excel - there are no tools which are similar to
Excel's Page Break Preview setting, allowing you to drag the
boundaries of your pages around. But that's largely because you're not
really using the recommended tool.... The theory is that while you
certainly can print a table or a query from Access, the real tool for
getting data onto paper is a report. From the report designer, you can
specify virtually any aspect of how the data should print, wrap, deal
with large fields, break groups of records across pages and so on.
