Print issues with length limit of Office Powerpoint

Is there an absolute limit to plot length in PowerPoint? (using a HP755CM
plotter should be able to continueously plot up to 50 feet)

Criteria for plot- Original page size is set to 9"x 50". Plotter settings:
Page size set to 36" x 200". Processing set to "in computer". Print set to
"fit to page". Results plotter spools out a length of paper and then
prints image jumbled up at end of page.

The .ppt file will print successfuly up to 18" x 100" in PowerPoint, but is
there a print lengthlimit set by Powerpoint coders?

None that's specified, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any. Or it might
be an interaction between PPT and the printer driver that causes the problem.

Have you tried variously using PowerPoint's scale to fit vs the driver's scaling
options to see if it makes a difference? I'd try using one or the other but not
both.

If that doesn't get it, try exporting to EMF and place the EMF in an app you
know *can* print to larger sizes.
