In Winnipeg at Corey's Computing, the 4200X2 fell $40 to $460, 4400X2 fell
$10, and the 4600X2/4800X2 fell $100 to $700/$800(CDN). 3800X2 remained
unchanged.

I wish the prices on the Opteron 265/270s would drop... I'm lusting
after a WinXP system with a pair of 270s to replace my pair of 246s.

But I'm not quite ready to pay ~US$700 for each CPU.
