Previewing Pictures

Sonya

I have recently changed from Windows 98 to Windows 2000.
In Windows 98 when I pulled up a folder under My Computer
with pictures, I could highlight each picture once, and it
would preview on the left-hand side. Now that I've
switched over, none of my pictures will preview. I've
tried changing what they open with, but nothing seems to
work. Any ideas?

Thanks!

.
open "my computer", select "tools" then under tools,
select "folder options", under the "general tab"
choose "enable web content in folders".

This will give you the thumbnail view on the left hand
side of the window again.

Good Luck

Although Kevin is quite correct, why not just switch to
Thumbnail view in Explorer to preview your pictures. You
will find this option under the View menu. One reason for
upgrading from 98.
