Hello,

Some time ago I opened a thread regarding a problem I had with accented
letters (á,é,í,ó,ú) in Outlook 2003 with Outlook Connector for
Domino.

Sometimes, in received mails composed by people using the Lotus Notes
client, these letters appear bold in the reading pane and also when I
open the message to edit it.

Now I have found out that if I open the message with the 'Options/Mail
Format/Use MS Word 2003 to read rich text mail messages' set and then
select 'View/Normal' the bold dissapears and I can see the message
correctly. On the other hand, if I select 'View/Web design' then the
accented letters appear again in bold.

In the reading pane, they always show up in bold.

My question is if there is a way to force the reading pane to use the
normal view instead of the web view, which is the one I suspect it is
using.

Thanks,
Fran

Hello again,

Just one thing I have seen: The characters that I described in my
previous post that appear in bold format in the preview pane have
another font type than the rest of the characters in the message.

For example, in the word 'día', the 'd' and the 'a' characters are in
Arial Unicode MS, while the 'í' is in System.

What does that mean? Why does Outlook assigns different fonts to a text
that has been written using only one font?

Thanks,
Fran
