"preview not available"

J

Jeff

Whenever I try to open my old JPEGs,, many of them cannot
be opened up in the Windows Picture Preview. When I save
them as .art or .bmp and open them in Paint, it works
fine. What can I do to get them to open in the Windows
Preview? I really can't think of any reason why some work
and some don't.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

Are they on the desktop or some other folder? I'm having a problem where no JPEG will preview
if it is kept on the desktop, but will preview if it's kept in any other folder.
